What is Oak City Indie Games?
Oak City Indie Games is a beloved annual showcase featuring work from local NC (now including other East Coast) indie game developers and artists. Come out and meet local game developers, artists, and creatives. You'll find awesome indie games, demos, jam games, TTRPGs, VR games, board games, experimental games, multiplayer games, dev talks, and a few fun surprises along the way!

This year Oak City Indie Games 2026 will be held at Wake Tech!
In addition to local games, we'll be able to play projects from students of the Wake Tech Simulation and Game Development (SGD) Program!
SGD is an Associate's Degree program designed to give students a broad understanding of all facets of video game design, while also allowing them to focus on honing the skills best suited to their abilities and maximize their potential.
