We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in North Carolina.
Our mission is to educate the public on the creative process of game development, to create games collaboratively, foster the appreciation of games as an art form, and support local artists and game developers in North Carolina.
Who Is this group for?
We’re an open community focused on supporting creators of games and game-like art. We put most of our organizational efforts towards supporting independent developers, marginalized and neurodivergent creators, and those who are just getting started in the world of games.
What we make
There can feel like there is a big divide between art-games and commercial entertainment. We support creators pursuing either of these endeavors with their work.
Interactive Arts?
Rather than just supporting game developers, we like to broaden our mission beyond games to be able to support and include creators of works like interactive therapy, tabletop creations, simulations, and weird game-like art projects. Our group is open to anyone making what they might consider "playful" art or just wants to be in an atmosphere with other like-minded creatives.
